Current Projects
AAWA x SAWC x TAPAS Archival Project
AAWA, TAPAS, and SAWC are collaborating with the Schlesinger Library to document the history of Asian American women at Harvard & Radcliffe College and exhibit this information within a digital public archive.
Global Affairs
As a progressive Asian-American collective, it is incumbent on us to deepen and pluralize our understandings of the transnational fight against oppression. At the Global Affairs committee, we create programming on Harvard's campus that offers a progressive analysis of global issues.
Radical Reading Group
Collective study is central to TAPAS’ mission, and the radical reading group is a space where members can share, broaden, and deepen their perspectives through conversations around a selected reading.
Chinatown Community Fridge
After members held conversations with Chinatown residents and community organizations, TAPAS formed the Chinatown Community Fridge team to help address the critical issue of food insecurity in Boston Chinatown.
Anti-Deportations
This committee strives to support the work of local advocates to combat deportations of Southeast Asian Americans.
Queer Asian American Programming
Anyone who would like to contribute to the planning and execution of events about and for queer Asian America should join! We ask that those who do not identify as queer and/or Asian American respect queer experiences and the preferences of our queer members.
