AAPImmigration: A Neglected Narrative

Did you know there are 1.7 million undocumented Asian Americans in the United States? With so much talk of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvadaor, the narratives of these immigrants are frequently left out and forgotten. We held this event to highlight and unpack the intersection between these identities. This panel brought together experts and organizers in these topics and we hope to discuss ways to begin shifting the narrative to be a more inclusive one and focus on ways to get involved.

Panelists include Esther Jeon, immigration activist, and Prof. Vivian Shaw, AAPI immigration scholar. Both panelists bring a rich perspective and have years of experience in the field.
