IAW 2019: Unveiling the Wall of Resistance

The Wall of Resistance is an intersectional art display created by the Harvard College Palestine Solidarity Committee (PSC), in collaboration with artists and activists from: Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Law School, Harvard College, Lesley University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. This intersectional art display is displayed each year as part of the PSC’s Israeli Apartheid Week, its biggest event of the year.

The wall is a visual assertion of our shared struggles and a symbol of resistance against forces that seek division and oppression. In the West Bank, Palestinians often draw works of arts on the wall of separation, as a form of resistance to the occupation. This wall was modeled after this phenomenon, as well as Trump's proposed wall on the border with Mexico, to assert our common humanity and reject any attempts to divide us.
